Avarielle here. Got pissed at Livejournal so I ran here.
my username rmstitanic1911 has been in use since 1999. First as my hotmail address, then it became my livejournal name in 2006, and now my dreamwidth name. but no matter, i want to keep it.
I'll be importing my Livejournal entries here. 4 and a half years of memories there. and i don't want to lose them. I'll probably lock down the Livejournal entries as private and start afresh here. I don't really know.
And I want new friends here.

I've not written fic like this in AGES.
so yesterday morning i woke up and my twitterfeed was FLOODED with news that the Tevatron was going to be shut down for good this October. and my two new characters Tevan and Serenity immediately demanded a story. and this is what came out of it.
honestly this was pretty easy to write. since the situation is similar to QE2's retirement - someone dies/goes away for good, and the other one is left behind. so it was just a matter of transferring the situation to different characters.

Jul. 26th, 2008 01:44 amfinally decided to upload the other photos from the QE2 Christmas Markets cruise last december.
this is only part 1. to be honest i took over slightly under 2000 photos for the 2 week trip, including Southampton and London, and used almost 5 GB.
i'm trying to distract myself from the wait for Ealasaid. =D

mmm... am bored now. will stop killing my laptop. which is dying due to my editing of pics.
and i shall leave everyone to their QE2 spam-less life. =D

the photos are kind of shite since there was 5.1 million people in fremantle at that time. and the cruise terminal was not open to general public by the time we got there. ): and ignore the random cars and random whats-not in the photos.

Feb. 14th, 2008 10:41 pmonboard the Queen Elizabeth 2, its like a floating maritime museum, a museum which has a focus on Cunard ships past and present. everywhere you turn, you'll find paintings, posters, models and artifacts. exploring a ship has never been this fun. the photos i took only represent a mere fraction of the treasures displayed onboard.
